FutureSoft inducts two key personnel

CHENNAI MARCH 1. Phaneesh Murthy, founder of Primentor inc. a U.S. based strategy consulting company and a former member of the Board of Infosys Technologies, has joined the Board of FutureSoft, the Chennai based provider of communication and embedded software solutions.

Addressing presspersons here today K. V. Ramani, Chairman and Managing Director, FutureSoft said Phaneesh would be playing an active role in the company by providing counsel at a strategic level besides conducting a leadership programme for the executive management at FutureSoft.

Mr. Ramani also announced the induction of Sarbpreet Singh as the chief sales and marketing officer.

Mr. Singh was earlier with Lucent Technologies as vice president and general manager of the MPLS core switching division.

Mr. Ramani said the induction of these two eminent persons would help FutureSoft becoming a successful intellectual property (IP) based organisation from India.

In the IP business FutureSoft was planning to offer a bouquet of seven solutions in the next 12 months which were expected to scale up the IP business. Mr. Ramani said.

FutureSoft which has presence in the North American, European and Asia-Pacific markets with seven offices worldwide, has plans to open two more offices in Boston and Japan.
