Nestle net up 16 p.c.

CHENNAI: Nestle India has posted a net profit of Rs. 201.52 crores for the year ended December 31, 2002 against Rs. 173.15 crores in the previous year. Total income has increased to Rs. 2,075.58 crores from Rs. 1,937.23 crores, the company informed the BSE. The company has posted a net profit of Rs. 37.67 crores in the quarter ended December 31, 2002 against Rs. 36.16 crores in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income has increased to Rs. 490.78 crores from Rs. 475.61 crores.
