While domestic sales jumped by 34.6 per cent to 3,672 units, exports surged by 60.8 per cent to 267 units during the month, a company statement said. February sales were also higher by 10.4 per cent as compared to 3,567 vehicles sold in the previous month. Cumulative (April-February 2002-03) sales went up by 24 per cent to 31,103 vehicles from 25,081 units a year earlier. During February, the company recorded a 32.4 per cent rise in domestic salesof medium duty commercial vehicles at 3,614 units. Of this, salesof medium duty goods vehicles stood higher by 41 per cent at 2,696 vehicles. PTI
