Megha bows out

NEW DELHI MARCH 14. The 579th ranked Megha Vakharia lost 5-7, 4-6 to the 943rd ranked wild card entrant Heidi El Tabakh of Egypt in the first round of the second $ 10,000 ITF women's circuit tennis tournament in Cairo, Egypt.

Megha had lost in the doubles first round as well, earlier. The talented left-hander who had made it to the final of a similar tournament in Bangalore recently, had lost in the first round of the tournament last week in Cairo to the eventual champion, Amanda Hopmans of the Netherlands.
