NEW DELHI APRIL 12. Wings of Fire, autobiography of the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has been translated into Chinese and launched formally at a ceremony in Beijing.

Published by the Chinese Contemporary World, the book was released at a ceremony on Thursday, attended by several functionaries of the Chinese Communist Party, representatives of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and a Vice-Minister, Cai Wu, sources said here. Speakers expressed the hope that Wings of Fire would help in forging closer people-to-people contacts and exchanges between the two countries.
