According to the police, information was received that a car bearing a registration number plate written in Hindi would be passing through Jhatinkra Mod in Najafgarh, south-west Delhi. A team led by Inspector Pankaj Sood was immediately sent to the spot. A trap was laid on Friday evening and three of the accused were arrested. However, one of them managed to escape. He was later arrested from Narela in north-west Delhi.
