Justice N. Dhinakar (bail and anticipatory bail), Justice D. Murugesan (writs) and Justice A.K. Rajan (civil and criminal appeal) will constitute the first vacation benches on May 6 and 13. The filings can be done on May 5, 9 and 12. The second vacation court will comprise Justice P. Sathasivam (writs-general miscellaneous, labour, service prohibition and excise and forest), Justice Prabha Sridevan (writs-cooperative, electricity board, land acquisition, education and industries) and Justice C. Nagappan (civil and criminal). Filings can be done on May 16, 19, 23 and 26. The third vacation benches will consist of Justice N.V. Balasubramanian (writs-general miscellaneous, labour, service, forest and prohibition & excise), Justice A. Ramamurthi (civil and criminal) and Justice F.M. Ibrahim Kalifulla (writs-cooperative, electricity board, land acquisition, education and industries). Filings will be done on May 30, June 2, 6 and 9. No application should be presented at the residence of the vacation judges under any circumstances. In case of bail petitions, the lower court bail order should be enclosed along with the petitions. No lunch motion would be entertained during the summer vacation, says an official release.
