Pak. must end cross-border terrorism: PM

BANGALORE May 3. The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, said here tonight that Pakistan must end cross-border terrorism.

He was speaking to presspersons on his arrival at the airport. When asked whether he was confident that Pakistan would fulfil the criteria laid by India for the peace initiatives to progress, Mr. Vajpayee shot back, "what criteria.'' When reminded about one of the conditions that cross-border terrorism must end, Mr. Vajpayee emphatically said, "it has to end.''
