MCH comes in for praise from foreign Mayor

HYDERABAD May 3. The Municipal Corporation won appreciation from the San Fernando city Mayor and UN-Habitat representative for the sanitation and road widening works in the city.

The visiting Mayor from Philippines, Mary Jane Ortega, and the UN- Habitat representative, Mariko Sato, met the Mayor, Teegala Krishna Reddy, and said that the amenities in city were on par with international standards.

They later visited Yousufguda Park being developed in 20 acres of land, 15-acre Lotus Pond under development at Jubilee Hills, a park at Methodist Colony, Begumpet. They also interacted with women link volunteers, thrift groups associated with MCH.

Mary Jane Ortega came to city on a two-day visit to participate as chief guest in the Hyderabad City Development Strategy Consultation meeting.
