Letters to the Editor
Sir, You have hit the nail on the head in your Editorial `The politics of Ayodhya' ( June 10 ) by pointing out the hypocrisy in the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee's call to political parties to keep off Ayodhya. The memory of his statement that the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya `is an expression of national sentiment' is still fresh in our minds. But Mr. Vajpayee's contradictions have become so frequent that they have ceased to surprise us, nor are we carried away by them. G. Radhakrishnan, Thiruvananthapuram
