`Dodgy dossier'

Sir, — The British Prime Minister's office has now admitted that the Blair dossier presenting irrefutable proof of Saddam Hussein possessing weapons of mass destruction and his ability to activate them in 45 minutes is faulty. The dossier was used to justify the Anglo-American invasion and occupation of Iraq flouting the U.N. and international law. `Dodgy' merely suggests a tricky manipulation of the dossier; the act was criminal and Blair should be answerable to the people of Britain, the Iraqis and the international community for pushing the world into a horrendous war and threatening the world with the prospects of more bloody pre-emptive interventions to make it safe for the hegemony of the mighty.

Jacob George,
