By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI JUNE 29. Two youth who allegedly tried to go past the barricade set up for the Prime Minister's convoy near Teen Murti were detained by the Delhi police today. They were released after their identities were ascertained.

According to the police, the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, had gone to the Research and Referral Hospital at Delhi Cantonment in South-West Delhi for an eye surgery. As his convoy was returning to his residence, a barricade was being put up at Willingdon Crescent near Teen Murti. Around 3 p.m., two young men riding a motorcycle attempted to cross the barricade.
