Samata Party State unit chief

THRISSUR JULY 6. The Samata Party president, George Fernandes, has nominated the Central Executive Committee member, A. S. Radhakrishnan, as the president of the State unit of the party.

According to a release from the party's national general secretary and spokesman, Shiv Kumar, the All-India president has also announced the list of 22 members of the State ad hoc committee.

K. Shanmughan Unni is the new State secretary general and Puthumana Vijayan is the treasurer. Jubi James has been nominated president of the State Yuva Samatha and P. K. Leela, Idukki chairperson of the party's women's wing.

N. D. Pathrose will be the chairman of the election committee while Abraham Benhur chairman of the policy and programme committee.
