Reasonable proposal

Sir, — Holding simultaneous elections to the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies is a reasonable proposal. There is no need to view it with suspicion just because it has been mooted by the BJP. It will save considerable time, energy and money. Frequent elections only divert the attention of politicians to retaining power.
