Arun Ramanathan, Industries Secretary

CHENNAI AUG. 21. The Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, Arun Ramanathan, gets an additional post of Industries Secretary, which he had held about a year ago.

He succeeds K. Skandan, who takes over as the Secretary of Planning and Development Department.

The Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles, Leena Nair has been transferred as Higher Education Secretary in the place of V.K. Subburaj, who has been posted as Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles. Ms. Nair will also hold the additional charge of School Education Secretary.

K. Ramalingam, Special Secretary of the Finance Department, is the new Transport Commissioner.
