The Tamil traditional theatre of Koothu, the martial dance from Kerala-kalaripayattu, the drum dance of Thanjavur- tappattam, padayani, ritual mask dance of Kerala-Padayani, a violin concert are among the events that children will perform as part of the show to be held at Narada Gana Sabha from 6 p.m. on August 22.

Started in 1953, the ICCW covers a range of activities for the welfare of abandoned, destitute, differently-abled and also children in difficult circumstances.

Over 8,000 children are covered every year through direct services of the organisation. Besides this, action-oriented research and policy interventions are undertaken to impact on childcare services in the State.
