Pak. condemns killing of civilians

By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD Aug. 25. Pakistan has condemned the two bomb blasts in Mumbai that killed at least 46 people dead and scores of others wounded.

"We deplore these attacks and sympathise with the victims and their families," the Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman, Masood Khan, told reporters at a press briefing here.

"Civilians have been targeted, we condemn all acts of terrorism. Such wanton targeting of civilians should be condemned in the strongest possible terms", he said in response to a question from a Pakistani journalist that India was in the `habit' of engineering such incidents and blaming it on others.
