Dastardly act, says Jamiat

NEW DELHI AUG. 25. The Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind today condemned the twin blasts in Mumbai that left 46 people dead and almost 150 people injured.Maulana Mahmood Madani, general secretary of the Jamait, demanded an inquiry and severe action against the perpetrators of the "dastardly act".

The Jamiat president, Maulana Asad Madani, who is on a visit abroad, said the blasts were an act of terrorism.
