Two held on charge of theft

BANGALORE Aug. 25. Two men have been arrested on the charge of stealing ornaments at weddings.

According to police, 700 g of gold ornaments were recovered from the accused, Manjesh, alias Manju, of Hurali Chikanahalli of Dodaballapur taluk and Mala (25) of Bhuvaneshwari Nagar.

A team from the Kamakshipalya Police arrested them. Police said they were accused in 16 cases of theft in wedding halls. Ten of them had been reported in Kamakshipalya and one each in Vijayanagar, Magadi Road, Rajajinagar, Rajgopalanagar, Jalahalli police station limits.
