Sir, The Supreme Court verdict upholding the Haryana Government's move barring those who do not follow the two-child norm from contesting panchayat elections is laudable. If elected representatives do not work for our national goals, who will? There is need to cultivate positive thinking for the welfare and development of the country. We will have to overlook our personal interest if necessary.
