Letters to the Editor
Sir, The downing of a U.S. helicopter in Iraq ( Nov. 3 ) is a clear indication that the Iraqis want the Americans out. It is time the world leaders sat down and evolved a way of handing over the occupied country to the Iraqis.
Abdul Bari,
Sir, If the U.S.-led `coalition' forces find themselves in the quagmire of increasing Iraqi resistance, the fault is entirely theirs. The scenario is worsening day by day and the U.S. and its allies have landed themselves in a classic catch-22 situation.
Wg. Cdr. (retd.) A.N.B. Pillai,
