Ananth Kumar's statement criticised

GULBARGA Nov. 23. The Home Minister, Mallikarjun Kharge, on Sunday, criticised the statements of the leaders of the Sangh Parivar and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the Datta Jayanthi celebration at the Datta Peetha in Bababudangiri.

He said the State Government would not remain a silent spectator to the moves by outsiders to disturb communal amity and peace at Bababudangiri.

At a press conference here, Mr. Kharge condemned the reported statement of the president of the BJP State unit, H.N. Ananth Kumar, that the party would convert Bababudangiri into the Ayodhya of south India.
