Five held for robbery in trains

HYDERABAD JAN. 2. The Secunderabad Railway police on Friday arrested five members of a Bihar-based gang and recovered Rs. 4.20 lakhs worth of property from them. Six other members of the gang were at large, a press release said.

The arrested were identified as Munna Prasad (32), Ganesh Prasad (30), Vijay Guptha (45), Naresh Giri (48) and Radha Paswan (26).

They were remanded to judicial custody. The accused used to commit theft in running trains at Secunderabad, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Warangal and Khammam railway stations.
