MADURAI, FEB.4. C.R. Ravichandhran has taken over as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax.

He joined the Civil Services in 1971 and served as Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai, Deputy Director of Investigation (Intelligence), Chennai, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax (Headquarters) (Administration), Chennai, and Officer on Special Duty in Central Board of Direct Taxes, New Delhi, besides working in other places in various capacities.
