CHENNAI, FEB. 5. Chengai East police on Tuesday seized 150 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, made in Pondicherry, which was being smuggled into the city. Police said a team belonging to the Prohibition Enforcement Wing was conducting vehicle checks near Chinnakuppam in Madhavaram, following specific information. On checking a jeep, they noticed the bottles, each with a capacity of 180 ml. Three persons were arrested and remanded to judicial custody, police said.
