CHENNAI, FEB.5. Gold chains were reportedly snatched from two women during `kumbabishekham' of the Palandi Amman Temple at Moovarasanpet near Madipakkam today. Police said there was a scamper when holy water was sprinkled from the tower and in the melee, a 10 sovereign chain worn by Saraswathi and a six sovereign chain worn by Parvathi were reportedly snatched. A complaint has been lodged at the Madipakkam police station.
