CPI(M), CPI panels meet

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 11. The CPI(M) State secretariat began a two-day meeting here today to identify candidates for the Lok Sabha poll.

The CPI State executive held preliminary discussions on the choice of candidates on the first day of its two-day meeting here today.

The CPI(M) secretariat would place the names picked by it before the State committee meeting being held here from February 13 to 15. The CPI State executive would continue its discussions tomorrow, but it would finalise its decisions only at the party State council meeting slated for February 18.
