Coffee Day expands
NEW DELHI: After achieving good growth in the food retailing business, the Bangalore-based Coffee Day Express (CDE), a division of the Rs. 250-crore Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company Ltd., on Wednesday announced expansion of its outlets in Delhi and satellite townships. It also opened its 25th kiosk in Delhi and 100th in the country since it was launched a year ago. Stating that the company was eyeing fast growing retail food business in seven cities Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune, CDE President, Sandip Mukherjee, said they would have 120 outlets by March 2004 that would go up to 250 by the end of the next financial year, including 60 kiosks in the National Capital Region.
