Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, has accepted that the Gujarat riots of 2002 was a `blot' on the nation. My questions are: has not India's image been tarnished by the riots? With the mindset of persons such as Narendra Modi percolating throughout the Sangh Parivar, what is the solution for the safety of the minorities?
K.N. Bhagavan,
* * * Sir, If the Government was so concerned, why was Mr. Modi allowed to continue as the Gujarat Chief Minister?
Md. Mudassir Alam,
