Fighting on the LoC

Sir, — The plight of jawans such as Sudhir Desai soldiering in high altitudes at the Line of Control is as nerve-chilling as the climate itself. I was ashamed to think of the quantity of food we waste every day, while on the LoC every morsel is a `welcome gift'.
