`Ram Temple will be built'

By Our Special Correspondent

BAGALKOT, MARCH 15. For the first time on his `Bharat Uday Yatra', the Deputy Prime Minister,

L.K. Advani, today categorically stated that a "grand" Ram Temple would be built in the "birthplace of Ram" with "the support and cooperation of all."

In reaction to the Bagalkot crowd's demand for the Ram Mandir, Mr. Advani said that along with the grand Ram Mandir, a `Bhavya Rashtra Mandir' would be built.

The huge crowd cheered the announcement.

Earlier in the morning in Hubli, Mr. Advani had told a press conference that the Ayodhya issue would be resolved through a negotiated settlement. An agreement of such nature would have an advantage over the verdict of the Court and a resolution of the Parliament. "If there is an agreement, it would be an enduring solution," Mr. Advani added.
