I have not sought ticket: B.K. Chandrashekar

BANGALORE, MARCH 15. The Minister of State for Primary Education, B.K. Chandrasekhar, today said that he had not sought the Congress ticket to contest from the Basavanagudi Assembly constituency and the party had not asked him to do so. However, he was ready to abide by the decision of the party in the matter. Speaking to presspersons, Prof. Chandrasekhar, also the party spokesman and long-time resident of Basavanagudi, added that many people from that area had been urged him to contest from the constituency.
