Trishul test-fired

BALASORE (ORISSA), MARCH 25. The short-range missile, Trishul, was successfully test-fired from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, about 13 km from here, today.

Developed by the Defence Research Development Organisation, the surface-to-air missile was test-fired from a mobile launcher about 2.52 p.m., defence sources said.

The solid fuel propelled missile has a range of nine km with a capacity of carrying a payload of 15 kg. — PTI
