`Trishul diksha' planned in Godhra

VADODARA, MARCH 27. As part of the VHP's campaign ahead of the coming Lok Sabha elections, nearly 1000 youths will participate in a `trishul diksha' programme tomorrow in the sensitive Godhra town in Panchamahals district of Gujarat.

According to the VHP coordinator for Panchmahals and Dahod districts, Shambu Prasad, the VHP leader, Acharya Dharmendra, will attend the programme.

Maintaining that the Godhra Lok Sabha seat was very prestigious for the VHP, he said the saffron cadres would do their best to ensure victory for the BJP nominee, Bhupendrasinh Solanki.

Nine non-governmental organisations have also announced a `rose diksha programme' in the town tomorrow to counter the VHP's programme.
