President, PM extend Ram Navami greetings

NEW DELHI, MARCH 29. The President, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, and the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, today extended their greetings to the people on the occasion of Ram Navami tomorrow. Dr. Kalam in his message said: "On this auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens."

Mr. Vajpayee in his message said: ``Lord Ram epitomises high values of righteous conduct and selfless service enshrined in the civilizational flow of not only India but other countries.'' "May Ram Navami strengthen harmony and peace all around to build a prosperous, happy and secure India of our dreams,'' he added. — UNI
