My rating is decided by people: Antony
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
MARCH 31.
The Chief Minister, A. K. Antony, today said he believed that his `popularity rating' was to be ultimately decided by the people.
``It is the people who decide my rating. Wherever I go, I feel their affection towards me,'' Antony told reporters after a Cabinet meeting when asked about a recent opinion poll pegging his popularity rating at a rather low 27 per cent.
Denial
The KPCC acting president, P. P. Thankachan, today refuted reports that he and the Chief Minister, A. K. Antony, had sought to prevail upon the high command against alterations in the party's list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls recommended by the State election committee. ``These are mere speculations. There is no truth in them,'' Mr. Thankachan told reporters. - PTI.
