THANJAVUR, APRIL 27. An all-round performance by Anand (five for 25, including a hat-trick and 44 runs) helped KK Computers Cricket Club carve out a five-wicket victory over Thanjavur Medical College in the Indian Bank - Thanjavur District Cricket Association division I league here on Sunday.
Challengers CC 141 in 33.4 overs (Ranjith 38, Prakash three for 30, Rajesh three for 26) lost to Yenathy Rajapppa College 142 for six in 31 overs (Rajesh 35 not out).
TUK Arts College 210 for six in 40 overs (Prabu 45, M. Shyamsunder 50, P. Sakthi 50 not out, Aleem three for 32, Venkata Krishnan three for 48) bt Kapil Dev CC 152 in 35.4 overs (Sathyaseelan 36, Sairam 31, Raja 30, Kannan 27, Shyamsunder three for 20, Srinivsan three for 26, Alex three for 10).
KK Computers CC 124 in 28.3 overs (Vairavel three for 30, Barani three for 18) lost to Almighty CC, Kumbakonam 127 for eight in 31 overs (Vairavel 34 not out, R. Anand three for 28, Nethaji three for 22).
