President wishes M.S. Subbulakshmi speedy recovery

NEW DELHI, MAY 17 . The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, today wished the renowned Carnatic singer, M.S. Subbulakshmi, speedy recovery. She was admitted to a private nursing home in Chennai with high blood sugar on Saturday.

Mr. Kalam wished that the 87-year-old musician got well soon, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman.
