Poojitha enters semifinals

MYSORE, MAY 27. Top-seeded N. Poojitha (SAI, Bangalore) registered a facile 11-3, 11-4, 11-7 win over Pallavi (Bangalore) to enter the semifinals in the cadet girls' singles on the opening day of the four-day State-ranking table tennis championships on Thursday.

Fifth seeded V. Harshambika (Star TT) beat fourth seeded C. Subashree (PTTH) 11-7, 8-11, 11-9, 11-4 in another quarterfinal match.
