Madras Club takes title

NEW DELHI, MAY 27. Madras Club won the Sharma Sports under-19 trophy with a 53-run win over favourites Sonnet Club in the final at the Yamuna Sports Complex ground here.

The scores: Madras Club 218 for six in 35 overs (Puneet Bisht 51, Aditya Jain 42, Rahul Diwan three for 24, Dilraj Singh three for 25) bt Sonnet Club 165 in 34.3 overs (Ravinder Rathore 38, Deepak Rajput 30, Aditya Jain three for 26, Ujjawal Nanda three for 35).
