Language toppers in Standard X examinations

CHENNAI, MAY 29. The following is the list of first three rankers in language subjects in the April 2004 Standard X examinations:

SSLC

French: 1) S. Hariram - 98 marks out of 100; 2) S. Balachandran - 98 and 3) R. Dhivya - 96 have got the first three spots. They are all from the Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School, Pondicherry.

Urdu: 1) Ahmed Raza (Islamia Higher Secondary School, Pernambut) - 95 marks; 2) Soban Akram (Khaderia HS Vaniyambadi) - 94; 3) Mohamed Zeeshan P (Islamiah B HS School, Vaniyambadi) - 92.

Matriculation

Hindi: 1) K. Aarthi (S.V Matriculation HSS, Thanjavur) - 195 marks out of 200; 2) Subhav Kumar Jain T. (New John Dewey Matriculation, Villupuram) - 193; 2) S. Nithya (Avila Con Matriculation HSS, Velandipalayam, Coimbatore) - 193.

Telugu: 1) K. Amulya (SRM Nightingale, Chennai) - 177; 2) Nalini K (D.R. Gengusami Naidu MHSS, Tiruttani) - 177; 3) B. Bala (St. Mary's MS, Pallipet, Tiruvallur) - 175.

French: 1) R. Bhavana (St. Patrick Matriculation HSS, Pondicherry) - 198; 2) Divyadarshini V (St. Patrick Matriculation HSS, Pondicherry) - 198; 3) Mithun U (Alpha Matriculation HSS, West CIT Nagar, Chennai) - 198.

Urdu: 1) Isra Batool O (T. Abdul Wahid MHSS, Ambur) - 194; 2) Maseera Farzeen K. (Al-Huda MS Fort, Vaniyambadi) - 194; 3) Sadiya Batool C (Al Huda MS Fort, Vaniyambadi) - 193.

Arabic: 1) Hamza Lafir A (Muhiyddeen MHSS, Kayalapattinam, Tuticorin) - 180; 2) Ummu Kulthu Razeeka M.O (Muhiyddeen MHSS, Kayalpattinam) - 176; 3) Azarudeen M.F (Alameen MHSS, Kumbakonam) - 175.

Anglo-Indian

Hindi: 1) S. Nivethitha (Holy Angels A.I School, Chennai) - 97 marks out of 100; and Aarti Muthusamy (Holy Angels A.I. School, Chennai) - 97; 2) M. Janani (Holy Angels School, Chennai) - 97; 3) N.T. Vijayalakshmi Naidu A (Atkinson HSS, Vijayawada) - 97.

French: 1)Thomas Vimalraj A (St. Bede's A.I. HSS, Chennai) - 96; 2) Jethwani Kanchan Prem (Doveton Corrie Girls HSS, Chennai) - 94; 3) Vinoo Kurian Thomas (St.Bede's A.I. HSS, Chennai) - 92.
