New Delhi June 4. The Rashtriya Janata Dal today hit back on the issue of the " tainted Ministers" by releasing a list of 78 leaders of the National Democratic Alliance who are facing criminal charges. The list includes the Leader of the Opposition, L.K. Advani and the former HRD Minister, M.M. Joshi. The RJD also signalled its intention to take the battle into the NDA camp, by asserting that it had evidence against the NDA leaders and was prepared to face the Bharatiya Janata Party both inside and outside the House. The deputy leader of the RJD in the Lok Sabha, Devendra Prasad Yadav, today told the media that his party had collected evidence against the top leaders of the BJP and would not hesitate to expose them.He said the charges levelled against the RJD leaders were " baseless" and had been cooked up by the Opposition to destabilise the new Government. He attacked his former "Socialist" colleagues George Fernandes and Sharad Yadav for joining the BJP in the campaign, alleging that the "Lohiawadis"(followers of Ram Manohar Lohia's principles) had turned saffron and become `feel-good and Shining India' people.
