HYDERABAD, JUNE 8. The B.M. Birla Science Centre has commenced a new sky show, `Mars - The final frontier', tracing the history of global research on the Red Planet over the decades. The show was inaugurated by the Director, Defence Research Development Laboratory, Prahlada, here on Tuesday. "While the Moon defined the frontier of the last century, human beings on Mars could well be the final frontier of this century," the centre Director, B.G. Sidharth, maintained. Dr. Prahlada said India had made rapid strides in space research and is in a position to participate and contribute to the Mars programme.
