Sonnet Club posts win

NEW DELHI, JULY 1. Mayank Sidana (four for 18) and Chaitanya Nanda (three for 26) helped Sonnet Club beat Goswami Ganesh Dutt Club by 20 runs in a quarterfinal match of the DDCA hot weather cricket tournament here.

The scores: Sonnet Club 187 in 39.1 overs (Salil Oberoi 60, Parminder Singh 42, Deepak Joon 29, Mahender Pal three for 32) beat Goswami Ganesh Dutt Club 167 in 38 overs (Ankit Bhargava 33, Kamal Bagga 25, Mayank Sidana four for 18, Chaitanya Nanda three for 26).
