Rajesh bowls well

CHENNAI, JULY 1. Rajesh's five for 27 took Spencer CC to a two-wicket win over Ambur CC in a IOB-Vellore DCA league match held recently.

The scores: Ambur 101 (Rajesh five for 27) lost to Spencers 102 for eight (G. Raju 45 not out, Prem three for 41, Maggi three for 13).

Ambur 153 (Senthil 33, Kadhir 30) beat United 130 (Senthil four for 32).

Spencers 232 for seven (E. Suresh 72, R. Gangadharan 51, P. Vinoth 44 not out, M.S. Shiva Kumar four for 64) beat Arakonam CA 115 (M.S. Shiva Kumar 29).

Pioneer 228 for eight (K.B. Arun Deepak 59, D. Sunil Kumar 49, B. Suresh 46) beat Maunroes 122 (Prem Kumar 38, Rajesh six for 40).
