SUCC (1) rides on Jonathan's century

BANGALORE, JULY 1. R. Jonathan's unbeaten 106 (153b, 9x4, 4x6) helped Swastic Union Cricket Club (1) wrest a 49-run lead over Malleswaram Gymkhana in a KSCA Group I first division Special knockout tournament semifinal that concluded in a draw here on Thursday. However, the first-innings lead helped SUCC (1) wrest the advantage and secure a berth in the final.

Chasing Malleswaram Gymkhana's 324, SUCC (1) resumed at 210 for three and hustled up the runs with ease as Jonathan and later Thilak Naidu (40 n.o.) kept the scoreboard ticking.
