Rajesh stars in GDC win

BANGALORE, JULY 2. A brilliant century by Rajesh (143) helped Government Dental College score a 119-run win over VS Dental College and enter the final of the GDC Cup — 2004 cricket tournament here on Friday. Rajesh was declared man-of-the match.

In the second semifinal, Bangalore Institute of Dental Science defeated MDC by five wickets. Shoiab of BIDS was adjudged the man-of-the match.

The scores: GDC 250 for three (Rajesh 143, Prashanth 45) bt VS Dental College 131 (Vinod 43).

MDC 133 for four (Dawn 25) lost to BIDS 135 for 5 (Shoiab 41).
