Mansher wins trap gold

NEW DELHI, JULY 4. Mansher Singh clinched the trap gold with a 143 out of 150 in the Asian clay shooting championship in Bangkok on Sunday.

According to information received from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), Mansher shot a 24 in the final after a 119 out of 125 in the preliminary series. Manavjit Singh Sandhu took the silver two points behind, while Anwer Sultan had to be content with the sixth place with a 137.

The Indian team also bagged the gold with a 352 out of 375 ahead of ChineseTaipei (341) and Kuwait (333). — Our Special Correspondent
