Ramakrishna shines

HYDERABAD, JULY 4. A haul of five wickets for 19 runs by left-arm spinner Ramakrishna enabled defending champion HSBC XI to defeat Coca Cola XI by 26 runs in the semifinals of the Kingfisher Cup inter-corporate cricket tournament here on Sunday.

The scores (semifinals):

HSBC 126 for nine in 20 overs (Anthony Joseph 31) bt Coca Cola XI 100 in 19 overs (Balaji 34, Ramakrishna five for 19).

Intelli Group XI 95 in 20 overs (Rajesh three for 19, Samson three for 18) lost to Gati CC 99 for two in 17.3 overs (Pradeep 35).
