Bhuvaneswari, Deepak Kumar triumph

RANIPET, JULY 4. B. Bhuvaneswari (BPCL) and G. Deepak Kumar won the women's and men's titles respectively in the BHEL Tamil Nadu-State ranking table tennis tournament, conducted by Vellore DTTA, here on Sunday.

Women: (final): B. Bhuvaneswari (BPCL) bt N. Arul Selvi (IB) 10-12, 11-8, 11-9, 12-10, 11-9; (semifinals): Bhuvaneswari bt T. Pradeepa (IOC) 10-12, 11-13, 12-14, 11-9, 11-4, 11-9, 12-10; N. Arul Selvi bt S. Nivedita (YMIA-M) 11-9, 9-11, 5-11, 11-9, 13-11, 11-6.
